EMILY ROYNESDAL
About Artist
My conceptual focus has been greatly influenced by my fascination with human behavior and the manner in which I receive information. The majority of my work focuses on personal and public spaces over the course of time, and more recently has evolved into a series of layered images that hinder between the tangible and observed. While I generally focus on the technical aspects of composition and lighting, I also seek to elicit specific emotions through changes in form and color. My recent work seeks to capture the complexity of human interaction by exaggerating movement through abstraction.
